Australian Chinese Women's Voice (ACWV) is a pioneering advocacy organization dedicated to empowering Chinese-Australian women and amplifying their voices within Australia's social, political, and economic systems.
We believe that Chinese-Australian women are not only the backbone of their families but also essential contributors to the future of a diverse, resilient, and inclusive Australia.
Yet despite their growing influence, many Chinese-Australian women continue to face cultural, language, and systemic barriers that limit their full participation in civic life.
At ACWV, we work to bridge these gaps — strengthening the civic engagement, leadership, and social inclusion of Chinese-Australian women.
Our initiatives include policy research, grassroots community surveys, public dialogue forums, leadership development, and partnerships with government, academia, and civil society.
Through independent research and community-driven projects, we aim to:
-
Reveal structural gaps in multicultural and gender policies,
-
Advocate for fairer representation and resource allocation,
-
Foster a stronger connection between Chinese-Australian women and Australia's democratic values.
Our vision is an Australia where Chinese-Australian women are seen, heard, and empowered — as changemakers, leaders, and full participants in shaping the nation's future.
